Amazon Haul + Review: Star Necklace + Bloom Planner!

Hey daydreamers! How has your week been? I’m writing this on Wednesday, and I’m insanely sore from cheer camp this week, but it’s been fun.

Recently I bought a few items from Amazon using a giftcard I got, and I thought it would be super fun to review them for y’all! This post isn’t sponsored or affiliated with Amazon or anything like that, I just thought I’d share these products with you guys. Let’s get into it!

Star Choker Necklace ($9.99)

I think I had seen a necklace like this on Pinterest or something, but I actually had a dream that I owned it and wore it with a specific outfit XD Pretty disappointing when I woke up and realized I didn’t actually have that necklace. So I searched for one on Amazon and ended up getting this one!

The necklace is so cute and surprisingly good quality for only $10! I’ve already worn it a lot and i’m sure I’ll wear it all the time. It really goes with anything!

The little star charms are a lot thinner than I expected though. (If that makes any sense)

Overall, I’m glad I decided to get this necklace because it’s definitely going to be worn all the time this summer!

Bloom Daily Academic Year Planner/Calendar ($16.95)

I’m currently using an academic year planner that goes from July 2020-June 2021, so I needed a new one for July 2021. I decided to try this one from bloom, and I’m so glad I did! I’m kind of obsessed with it. The cover is so cute and definitely fits my vibe/aesthetic – lots of gold with a glittery pink, blue, and white marble. It has the year on the front in gold lettering and the little bloom logo in the corner.

The cover has a pocket on both sides, which will be super handy for storing stickers and notes and things like that. The first page just has a little space to put your info, plus a section to create your own mission statement for the upcoming year.

On the inside, it has several helpful life-planning and goal-setting pages. I only took pictures of the ones I haven’t filled out yet, but the ones that did complete were super inspiring, beneficial, and fun to do!

The pages at the beginning are: contact info/personal mission statement, bloom’s mission statement, important dates, calendar overview, purpose worksheet, values worksheet (this one was so helpful and helped me realize some things I need to work on!), a tracker that helps you rate how you’re doing in different areas of your life, a things NOT to do list, goals for the year, vision board, goal tracking, habit tracking, ideal week, weekly schedule, monthly tasks and bills, joy list, to-dos, contacts, and logins.

Phew! That was a lot of pages to type! XD The point is, there were a ton of beneficial pages at the beginning that I didn’t know were going to be there, so that was a nice surprise! I like how it’s not just a calendar, but it also helps you set goals and create habits.

I REALLY enjoyed the vision board page! I created a Pinterest board and started pinning pictures of places I wanted to visit, camp, cheer, ballet, studying, and the Bible. Then I made a collage using Canva, printed it out, and glued little inspirational quotes to it. It was a fun afternoon activity and definitely inspired me! Even if you don’t have this planner, you should totally make a vision board. (Would you guys be interested in a full tutorial post on how to make one?)

This is what the calendar space for each month looks like.

And this is what the weekly spread looks like. I like writing my to-do list in the weekly part of my old planner, so this will be nice! It also has a little space for priorities.

At the very end of the planner, it has a page for important dates for next year and a “how I bloomed” page.

And it even came with some cute stickers! My favorite is the “Alpaca my bags” one. These are so fun!!

Overall, I would definitely recommend this planner! It’s super nice quality, comes with tons of extra helpful pages, and it’s a good price.

Thank you so much for reading this post, and I really hope you enjoyed it! Have an amazing weekend and I’ll see you on Wednesday for another episode of the Emmie Show!

Do you have a necklace like this or want one? Have you tried bloom planners?
