heyy daydreamers! gosh, it has been forever since i’ve posted on here, and i’m super sorry about that! (after i had all of these goals of posting more…oops!) i thought it would be a fun idea to share what’s been going on in the couple of months since my last posts on here, and fill you guys in on everything that’s been happening! i haven’t missed actually blogging too much, but i’ve really missed all of y’all and i’m super glad to be popping in here to say hey! let’s get right to the post 🙂Continue reading “a little life update! Hey daydreamers! I know I just did a fashion post last week, but I had no idea what to post and was actually planning on taking a posting break this week, when the white athletic skirt from Old Navy my mom ordered for me came in the mail. I immediately proceeded to try on every single top I own to see what would go with it and I discovered it could make a fun post. So a really similar post to last week is better than no post at all, right? 😛
I’ve seen this tennis skirt trend all over Pinterest. You’re supposed to wear it with a sweatshirt or sweater vest and collared shirt, but I’ve been wearing that exact same outfit to school for years. Why would I want to wear basically my school uniform outside of school? However, I thought the skirt itself was super cute and would be a fun change of pace from shorts, jeans, and leggings! I’ve put together some ways to style it, so hopefully y’all will enjoy and maybe get some inspiration. (The skirt I’m wearing is this one.) Let’s get into it!Continue reading “How to Style A Tennis Skirt!”
Hey daydreamers! Can you believe that it’s March already?? A year ago this month, the world shut down, which is crazy to think about how everything’s been going on for so long. I had kind of a slump when it came to covid last month, but it feels like things are looking up now, which is super exciting.
Back in January I did a similar post to this where I shared a playlist filled with some of my favorite songs at the moment and a collage that matched the mood/aesthetic of the month and playlist. I liked that post so much that I ending up making playlists for February and March too! I thought I’d share the March playlist for this week’s post, along with an aesthetic collage that reflects the transition from winter to spring and contains a little motivation for your weekend. 🙂
I actually use Apple Music for listening to music, but a follower had an awesome idea to create a Spotify account to share the playlists so I don’t expose my Apple ID! So I kidnapped my mom’s Spotify account (with permission lol), so y’all can listen to the playlist on there. Oh, and I don’t own any of these pictures: they’re all from Pinterest. Let’s get into it!
I know that I literally say this in every single post, but this post was seriously so fun to make! It was super relaxing to curate the collage, and I’m lowkey obsessed with this playlist. Let me know some of your current favorite songs, because I listen to my monthly playlists 24/7 and love making them longer with new music I haven’t heard before!
Also, if you want to save any of these pins, check out my (recently updated) Pinterest account! Is anyone else excited about the new month?
THIS WEEK’S SHOUTOUT GOES TO Maggie Bryan from the nightingale! Her blog is amazing and she came up with the awesome idea to make a spotify playlist. Thank you so much for commenting!
What do you think of the playlist? Excited for the new month? Have you listened to any of these songs? Any music recommendations?
PS – I almost forgot, I turned the collage into a phone wallpaper as well! Feel free to use these on your phone but please give credit if you share. Thanks!
